Le Garde Manger - Auckland
The restaurant brings a piece of France to Aucklanders. The menu serves up a range of savoury pancakes including smoked salmon, leek fondue & lemon with salad, 'La Capri', a crepe with goat cheese, honey, sundried tomato and walnut with salad and 'La Limousine' filled with steak mince, onion, mushroom, tomato coulis & egg.
The crepes can be accompanied by a french cider from Brittany and Normandy. A good choice of sweet crepes will suit those with a sweeter tooth.
Main dishes include french classics of Beef Bourguignon,Coq au vin and lamb leg casserole. A decent selection of french wines are showcased on the wine menu.
