As the self-proclaimed pioneer of vegetarian and vegan Thai food in New Zealand, the Sunflower Thai Vegetarian Restaurant serves up and array of super-healthy, gluten-free, organic and ethically-sourced dishes from the Southeast Asian kitchen.
These range from spicy Chinese herbal soups to the ubiquitous pad Thai peanut noodles, while the menu also includes some glaringly out-of-place Western dishes, like stacked tofu burger and vegetarian fish and chips. What's more, all foodstuffs are supplied by a major vegetarian specialist seller based in Auckland itself and the Sunflower philosophy dictates that no MSG or additive products are used during cooking.
Monday to Saturday: 11.00am - 3.00pm (Lunch) / 5.00pm - 9.00pm (Dinner).
