Finding things to do in Auckland isn't hard. Situated between two harbours there's plenty of water activities on offer. The city is packed full of family attractions, museums and galleries, while over 50 volcanoes offer superb walking trails.

Known as the 'City of Sails', water based activites are big here, with yachts dotted everywhere. Scenic cruises and island hopping on the ferries are a great to take in the harbour setting. The compact downtown area is easy to explore on foot with museums, galleries and the iconic Skytower never far away. There's also the main retail hub of 'Queen Street' and the trendy Britmart preccinct. The city has more than enough family attractions to keep everyone happy, with Rainbow's End, Auckland Zoo, and Stardome Observatory and Planetarium offering some of the best fun. Situated in the suburb of Parnell, the Auckland War Memorial Museum features on many visitors 'must do' lists, presenting the history of New Zealand, its people and culture. The Auckland Art Gallery is conveniently located downtown and adjacent to Albert Park, a quiet oasis in the city. With over 26 regional parks, there is a huge selecton of walking trails to enjoy. The golden beaches to the north of the city are ideal for relaxing and often you'll have the beach to yourself!
